1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using YallaDone ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and YallaDone. Please read them carefully.

2. Description of Service

YallaDone is a mobile application that provides:

• Receipt splitting functionality to divide expenses among multiple people
• Budget tracking to monitor income and expenses
• Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to extract information from receipt images
• Local data storage for your financial information

The App operates primarily as a local-first application, meaning data is stored on your device rather than cloud servers.

3. User Accounts and Data

YallaDone does not require user accounts. All data is stored locally on your device.

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your device
• Backing up your data as needed
• Ensuring accurate data entry

We are not responsible for data loss due to device issues, uninstalling the app, or other circumstances beyond our control.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use YallaDone only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Use the App to store or process data that violates any laws or regulations
• Use automated systems to access the App without permission

5. In-App Purchases

YallaDone offers optional in-app purchases (YallaDone+ upgrades):

• Purchases are processed by the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android)
• Payment will be charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation
• These upgrades are non-consumable one-time purchases (they do not auto-renew)
• You can restore eligible purchases using the app’s “Restore Purchases” button
• Refunds are subject to Apple's or Google's refund policies

Upgrades may include features such as:

• Removal of advertisements
• Additional features and functionality

All purchases are final unless required by law or as provided in the applicable store's refund policy.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and content, is owned by YallaDone and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

7. Accuracy and Reliability

While we strive for accuracy:

• OCR (Optical Character Recognition) results may not always be 100% accurate
• You should review and verify all extracted information
• Calculations are provided "as-is" for informational purposes
• We are not responsible for financial decisions made based on App calculations

You are responsible for verifying all information before relying on it for financial decisions.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

YALLADONE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement
• Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any information

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YALLADONE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses
• Damages resulting from your use or inability to use the App
• Financial losses resulting from App calculations or errors

This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory on which the claim is based.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless YallaDone, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of these Terms.

Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. You may delete the App from your device at any time.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the competent courts with jurisdiction over the matter, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
